Mr. Thomas Wilson is a consummate business executive with 30 years of experience in information technology sales, business development, strategic partnership and alliance management. He is a proven high performer who is skilled in account management, team leadership and integrator/channel relationships. Accomplishments

Prior to joining Deep Water Point, Mr. Wilson held the position of director of business development and vice president of strategic alliances and partnerships at North Grumman Information Technology (NGIT). As a member of the sector’s senior management team, Mr. Wilson was integrally involved in NGIT’s business development functions while providing critical support to the customer facing business units. As a result of his leadership, the alliance and partnerships office became the vanguard in leveraging technology relationships, identifying potential new partners, facilitating partner problem resolution, as well as maximizing terms, conditions and pricing to benefit NGIT while achieving high levels of partner satisfaction.

Over the years, Mr. Wilson has made significant and successful contributions to companies such as SAP America and BMC Software by increasing their revenues and high level contacts. He began his career at Unisys. During his tenure at Unisys, Mr. Wilson rose from account representative to director of Federal Sales while achieving booking and revenue goals 17 out of 18 years.  As director, he was responsible for managing the profit and loss of the business unit chartered with the sales and program management of open systems internetworking technologies and services to federal agencies, prime contractors, and systems integrators. In addition, Mr. Wilson coached his sales teams in the development and implementation of sales tactics, proposal development, pricing structures and strategies, business plans, customer relations, post-award implementation and contract administration.

Personal

Mr. Wilson holds a BA from the University of Louisiana, Monroe and has received many achievement awards for excellent performance. He is a member of the Executive Advisory Committee to the Government IT Executive Council and an ACT/IAC fellow.
