Summary

Mr. Randy Brammer’s 38 year background in information technology (IT) leadership affords Deep Water Point clients outstanding guidance and expertise in the areas of IT operations, IT management and governance. He is an accomplished professional who assists our customers in building their exposure and activities within the federal government.

Accomplishments

At the Department of the Interior (DOI), Mr. Brammer was an integral part of the IT transformation efforts underway and instrumental in the data center consolidation efforts. As one of the leads, he was active in developing and supporting the initial governess structure and led efforts in developing business cases that were adopted moving the project forward. His operational expertise was influential in developing the phased approach being used to accomplish data center consolidation.

Prior to his service at DOI, Mr. Brammer worked as the deputy CIO operation and chief technology officer for the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR). While at BOR, he was responsible for the planning, development, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, and in driving improvements and change. In addition, he directed the expansion and implementation of BOR’s configuration management program, patch management procedures, guidelines, and creation of a central help-desk service. 

During his career, he received numerous performance, contribution and technical honors, culminating in receipt of the Superior Service award from DOI.  He is also active in government and industry professional associations.
