Mr. David Medeck is a senior executive whose 35 years of expertise spans across a number of areas including business transformation and reengineering, customer service and contact center operations, leading large-scale business operations, and partnering with IT organizations to deliver high business-value solutions.
Accomplishments
Prior to joining Deep Water Point, Mr. Medeck held a variety of significant leadership positions at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) including director of Customer Account Services, business modernization executive, and director of the Joint Operations Center. As director of Customer Account Services, he was responsible for all tax return payment processing and correspondence activities for the IRS. He directed the activities of 26 executives and 45,000 employees with a budget of $1.4 billion. As business modernization executive, Mr. Medeck had primary responsibility for providing business leadership for two of the most important modernization projects that IRS was developing. His leadership resulted in important progress being made in delivering modernization for the IRS. As director of the Joint Operations Center, Mr. Medeck directed the activities for one of the world’s largest integrated call forecasting, scheduling, and monitoring operations which supported the telephone operation for the IRS.
In addition to receiving Outstanding SES Performance Awards for 2003 – 2008, he was recognized with the 2006 Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Service and the 2008 Federal 100 Award.
